    FirstFuel is looking for a dynamic, highly-motivated Enterprise Sales Director with experience selling software solutions - preferably SaaS - to enterprise accounts, with experience in the energy or utility space considered a major bonus.

    The ideal candidate is an experienced Sales Director with proven experience developing, delivering and growing new and existing account revenue with 7 figure deals, and who has experience selling directly to large, complex organizations, and loves the challenges that come with prospecting in new and existing accounts. Ultimately, you will contribute to building profitable, long-term relationships with prospects and clients to help FirstFuel reach our business objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Achieve or exceed assigned annual quota by selling FirstFuel's complete line of SaaS products
    • Develop a robust and well-qualified sales pipeline within and across new and existing utility accounts
    • Work closely with FirstFuel sales management to form and set strategies and execute on tactics within and across named accounts
    • Identify, reach and influence key decision makers and all influencers and stakeholders within targeted accounts
    • Serve as both "Hunter" and "Consultative Sales Professional" - often at the same time – but with a clear focus on bringing existing pipeline deals to closure
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations team members inside FirstFuel to investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients and ensure our solutions meet their defined needs
    • Strategize, present and demonstrate a tailored technology solution structure with multi-year business relationships

     

    Qualifications

    • You are a proven leader and commander of your territory and can demonstrate specific successes in closing business in previous software sales roles
    • You are collaborative, thorough, strategic, responsive and proactive individual who works well in a team selling environment with long and detailed sales cycles, often with multiple economic and technical buying influences
    • You have a minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience, selling SaaS and/or enterprise software products or services to VP, SVP, and C-Level Executives
    • You love working with clients, understanding their personalities and their business needs, and delivering world-class solutions to meet these needs
    • You thrive when given the opportunity to grow business with a client, and can set and execute on a multi-year growth strategy with internal and external stakeholders
    • You have a BA/BS and preferably an MBA/advanced degree
    • You are okay traveling 40% to 50% of the time across the territory
