    We're looking for an energetic DevOps engineer who is ready to be part of a fast paced global team. You will have the opportunity to innovate, mentor, learn and run POCs of the latest leading technologies. This position requires you to work closely with QA and Development teams to understand the business needs and drive innovation.

    Experience

    • Excellent troubleshooting skills - Linux, Networking, Web Servers
    • Configuration management (Chef preferred)
    • Provisioning AWS resources (EC2, S3, Auto scaling groups, RDS, VPC)
    • Experience with releases
    • Comfortable with Linux (Mostly RedHat based, some debian based).
    • Follows DRY principles
    • Written custom checks for monitoring tools

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain automation tools to maintain multiple environments for development, testing, UAT and production supporting rapid release cycles.
    • Systematic problem solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
    • Develop, maintain and utilize monitoring tools, scripts and applications to proactively identify problems across environments and minimize downtime and participate in an on-call rotation.
    • Perform security, performance, and availability assessments.
    • Influence and create standards and methods for deployment of large-scale distributed systems.
    • Learning (and sharing) new skills through independent research, formal training, and industry events.

    Qualifications

    • At least 3 years hands-on experience in UNIX systems administration / operations of mission critical software infrastructure.
    • At least 3 years hands-on experience in web technologies and applications for building, deploying and monitoring them.  
    • Expertise with Amazon Web Services or other cloud-based infrastructure
    • Experience using DevOps tools such as; Jenkins, Chef, Sensu, PagerDuty, Splunk
    • Experience using JIRA or other agile task management tools.
    • Experience in one or more of the following shell scripts; ruby, python, groovy, bash.
